This exhibition, the first of its kind in Spain to combine art and health, consists of ten sensory installations by leading creators that propose a journey through the different emotions associated with breast cancer.

Confusion, sadness, confidence, strength, anxiety, guilt, fear, serenity, hope and joy are the emotions that emerge at Serrería Belga through the work of renowned artists and creators from the fields of art, design, architecture and photography, such as Boa Mistura, Antoni Arola, Joan Fontcuberta, Belén Moneo, Mayice, Raquel Buj, Alba de la Fuente, María Fabuel and students from the IADE School of Design.

10 Emotions, 10 Roses commemorates the tenth anniversary of the alliance between the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and Solán de Cabras, whose psychological support programme for women diagnosed with cancer and their families highlights the importance of emotional management, support and accompaniment throughout the disease process. The exhibition presents ten multidisciplinary works in which the colour pink and its different shades serve as a nexus to illustrate ten of the emotions most commonly experienced by patients and their families.

This exhibition is another example of the Serrería Belga Cultural Space’s commitment to give a voice to creators from different artistic disciplines and to show the cultural and creative dynamism of Madrid in relation to those issues that are part of and of concern to society.

With the collaboration of artists as Boa Mistura, Mayice, María Fabuel, Raquel Buj, Alba de la Fuente, IADE Nuevos Talentos, Antoni Arola, Joan Fontcuberta and Belén Moneo.
